If you have a complaint about an issue in the neighborhood and are unwilling or unable to resolve it by speaking to the person involved, you can report it to the police or the city. All complaints other than police emergencies are to be funneled through the KCMO Action Center. Be as specific as possible when reporting a problem, such as the exact address of a house, the license plate number of the car, etc. Your call or complaint can be anonymous. You will be notified in writing about the status of your complaint after it is resolved if you give your name and address.


How to contact the Action Center:

  • In person: Visit their office on the first floor of City Hall at 414 E. 12th Street between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. weekdays.
  • By phone: Call 311 or 816.513.1313 between 7 a.m. and 8 pm on weekdays and 8 a.m. and 5 pm on Saturdays. You may also leave a recorded message after hours.
  • By e-mail: Send an e-mail to actioncenter@kcmo.org
  • Online: Fill out a request for service form (RFS) at www.kcmo.org
