Beautification

image003
The purpose of the Beautification Committee is to focus on the appearance of the neighborhood by maintaining the plantings throughout the association and to encourage all homeowners to keep up their yards and gardens. Besides the planted urns throughout the neighborhood, the following areas are also maintained:

- The east marker island at the junction of Madison, Belleview and 75th Street
- The west marker island at the junction of 72nd Terrace and Terrace Street
- The Ward Parkway garden from Gregory Boulevard to 75th Street

If you have a stone pillar in your yard and would like an urn placed on top to maintain, please contact Mike Allmon below.

The committee also sponsors the “Home of the Month” award. Winners are selected for their outstanding work to beautify their property. Winners receive a $50 gift certificate from Soil Service Nursery and Garden Center, have a sign posted in their yard for a month and are acknowledged in a newsletter article.

In order to qualify, you must be a dues-paying member.
